I live in Whetstone and use my Vela Blue V6 for my daily commute round the A563 every day. I check this thread frequently waiting for the opportunity to proudly say "that's mine" 4 months now and nothing. 1 bloody visit to the Tigers and Ruiner gets 2 spots! I must remember to turn the stealth mode off!

Tell me about it. I live in Countesthorpe, and not one sighting, although it might help if it made it off the drive more frequently! Mines in Black

We'll have to accidentally meet in the Co-Op car park; then we can do a spotted on each other. I'm often up at Dine India collecting a take away

I saw a light blue twin spark in the esso garage in Chorlton, Manchester. Was driven by lady. I was in the dark blue v6, but I don't think you saw me. I'm sure I have seen your car around.

I have driven a Gtv at some point for the past 8 years, and a Spider more recently. Never been spotted other than by people that already know me

Spotted a Vela Blue GTV V6 in Whetstone on the A563 today - I was in Warwickshire, it was snowing, but I am sure it was GTV_Blue (feel better ?!)

Thanks mate, but the cars been off the road today as I never finished fitting my oil cooler at the weekend. My place is just off the 426 but unless you were flying a chopper you wouldn't have seen it anyway. It will be making the usual commute round the 563 tomorrow about 6.30am through Fosse Park and 16.40 round Humberstone Heights, Knighton, Wigston and Countesthorpe. Like Shaw Taylor used to say "keep em peeled".

I'll struggle to see your beautiful GTV unless it is a really clear day (or via the air ). I live and work in Warwickshire now, but we pop back to see the parents and siblings in Leicester (parents West Knighton, sister used to live in Countesthorpe), we're back in two weekends time...so we'll look out then for the Leicester Alfa's - though this Indian sounds like a plan !?

Come on you Foxes onward to FA Cup glory tonight !!!

Oh dear, you've made the assumption that I'm a Leicester lad .............. not so! My 10yo son is, and he's a Leicester City Fan but I'm a Southern Boy and my team is the mighty Hammers. Maybe we should move this thread to th EM Meeting planning and arrange a Ruby for two weeks time Got another pal in Dunton Basset with a silver P3 3.2 who will come along too

Come on you Irons - I have an annual curry wager with a Hammers fan here - last Season it was who finished the highest in the Championship (), this year is the most away wins, Foxes are ahead and I'm already looking at the starters...We always watch each others TV games down the pub

I'd have to bring me mother to the Indian, we're over for her birthday ! She likes Indian food and may appreciate the company of a lot of young men

I reckon you're on a safe bet! I went to Villa Park Sunday and wished I hadn't bothered; half the team looked like they weren't!

If we are going to do Dine India at the weekend we'll need to get in early. We can fill the front row of the car park with Alfa's Not sure your mum will appreciate the petrol head conversation though! Anyway, that's another assumption, at 45 do I still class myself as a "young man" lol
