The wood effect doesn't look good, there was a factory option with it fitted (came also with a wooden steering wheel), I've seen a couple and it doesn't look nice. However it is marginally better than the standard one that has since been scratched to hell.

Mind you, if you let a pussy on it, I'm not surprised it's screwed to pieces

i got to brushed ally thinking that put it on that was a nightmear and it looked ceap and nasty i was guted hence i started this link but i do like the zender dials that where posted thay look the dogs danglies
