In short PD,
1.) Huge Difference, on a cold day with heater on its glorious and the accoustics are superb with no wind chill from behind and the stereo does not need to be up full blast...also you can have a conversation with your passenger.
3.) Slightly restricted but you can open storage compartment no problem.
i recommend them, infact i don't know how i ever lived without. If you look in the storage area you will see two plastic plugs one on each side, if you remove you will see the mounting plates, simply bolt the mounts to them ...5-10 min job!
PS: Ill take a pic from inside tomorrow and show you the space that you have to work with, the only problem is that you need to be careful, when putting roof down as it can catch rear window, just get in habit of pulling the upright fully forward b4 lowering roof.
