Re: GSR Air-Flow Induction Hose
Basically all it will do is link the air filter to your throttle body in the form of one uber-smooth silicone hose.
And the reason that GSR are the only suppliers that do it is simply down to the R&D factor. The hose has to be designed, then prototyped, then it is tooled, and then it can actually have the silicone wrapped onto it. GSR make their hose's in one go, the one on my Punto was over 1.4metre long, 100mm Wide at the inlet and I believe its still the longest hose that he has ever produced, locating the filter right under the front bumper.
Most firms would design and manufactor in several parts, GSR only use the one, to increase performance and this is why it takes so long for any of his kits to be made.
I know that people don't like to be messed about and he doesn't intend too do this to people. If you want my advice on ordering a kit, wait until he is either going to one of the Auto Italia shows or arrange to meet him at Red-Dot on one of there rolling road days, or Ace Cafe. He 9/10 times delivers at these events if you have ordered your kit and given him a gentle reminder.
