Re: Top Speed
I wouldnt worry about the conditions of the auto bahns, when I took the 75 it felt like some of the best roads I had ever been on, but then again even the bad roads in europe are typically better than the crap we have to put up with. There are various places in the uk you can go to that are long enough. Most airfields you can get a good run up beofre hitting the main runways which are typically 1.25 miles+. Bruntingthorpe is one of the best places and located in the middle of the country with a 2 mile straight. It's used for vehicle proving and includes a track too. most cars will get flat out here, my 75 on early runs achieved 180+ after half the runway, I only had to lift off because the air fuel ratio ran too lean. I never went back there after running the 4 extra injectors though. It cost me £50 per hour with a minimum hire time of 2 hours. Just bear in mind that when there there will more than likely be some 200mph super car being tested or an F1 team testing too. Mostly though the place is deserted!
Where abouts are you based?
