I hope I'm wrong.....I have a feeling your insurance company will simply write it off. It's a phase 1 isn't it. Insurance companies have been warming up over the last few years as to the value of salvage, I've a feeling that the repair cost will come close to the book value and they will see that they can claw back more money on the salvage than by fixing it with the associated customer service risk associated with repair (paint match, potential unknown damage to gearbox etc) hope I'm wrong, but the ex wife had a beautiful 3 Series Coupe written off (body damage was minimal, but the engine mounts had broke, and the insurance company debated about further unknown damage)
Hope I'm wrong in your case as she does look beautiful.
I prefer my cars to be Alfa's, and my computers to have no Windows.
