Hmm, thoughts please gentsÖsystematic answers would be good (the project manager in me!)
Requirements (in order)
Low sound impact >5000k
Better high rev sound ideally <5000k
Quads, look good but should I change my un-moded GTV Cup?
Quads, rear bumper will need modding to fit, ideas of cost?
Iíve heard and read of people changing their cup exhausts and then changing them back to factory fit a couple of times and donít want to get it wrong.
My experience was the follwoing:
Low sound impact >4500 - Nice grumble low down then gets quieter up to 4000
Better high rev sound <4500 - Open throttle, lovely sound, non invasive in cabin
If you go quad, I would look at an Autodelta rear apron which tidies things up nicely and hides the chop job you need to make in the rear bumper. I really don't think it would have an impact on the value or even originality as the GTV is one of the few cars that can pull off an aftermarket DTM upgrade IMHO... and a Cup will always be a Cup afterall.
Another thing would be to make major body work changes.
