Re: brera/159 front lights on a gtv
The phase 3 grille update was designed to bring the GTV up-to-date to the current range of Alfas, whereas the phase 1/2 grille links the car to the 164 era. I understand the pahse 3 update, but to most people including myself it's not a successful one.
Trying to be as objective as I can I think the GTV is aging very well, the design does have a bit of a timeless quality to it. Last week my car had a good wash and I was surprised how many looks it got whilst I was sitting in it waiting in a car park, so the design of it does literally still turn heads!
The OP's pic has some aftermarket lower spoiler on the bumper, but I'd be interested to see a proper Photoshopped aeropacked GTV with Brera/159 lights.
One question relating to my above comment of the 164, when exactly did Alfa bring in the 164/GTV/etc style of grille treatment in? The GTV started in '95 I think, but that grille style must have come before the GTV.
