cheers for the replies
Im also going to have to fit it myself because of cost, im not a bad car DIY guy as ive build kitcars before, but what kind of job am i looking at, what needs to come off?
I paid £160 for a new OE rad and fitted it myself (did the thermostat at the same time).
Rad was a ******* to fit - worst bits are :
getting the wierd hose clips off without damaging the hoses
Slotting the new rad in (aircon radiatior sits in front - making it awkward)
The crossmember under the rad was in a bit of a state - do to rad leaking onto it. This had to be unbolted from underneath, cleaned up and hammerited before re-fitting.
Cooling fan thermistors had shorted due to getting doused in coolant - had to be replaced and wiring renewed.
All the fasteners connecting the coolant rad to the aircon rad were shot - all replaced - had to keep dashing out for more parts (On the Fireblade - cos Bella was in bits)
Rest of it wasn't too bad - but you WILL skin your knuckles on this one.
And to think I went up the Alps with a dodgy rad not two weeks before... lucky boy !
