No luck with the other number except i have now info on how to read the cup number from the V5 sheet -so i will be able to work it out and if they ask me i can tell them. Ken
Here is what Ken told me about that in a pm Clive "on the log sheet for this new cup the engine number relates to the cup number as follows-OOC1121-
So whatever the engine number on my old cup was should be the cup number-- makes sense i suppose"
The engine number on my V5 doesn't match my Cup # and I can't see 90 as part of any number on it.
Nothing in my engine number or VIN to indicate Cup no-128.
Must just be a coincidence it will be interesting to see how they advertise it but I have a feeling that they will dodge it in the add giving that they advertise ones that they do know the numbers of as "1 of 150"!!!
If you now know how to tell a Cup's number from its engine number please tell us what you think it is. Who gave you this info anyway?
My records from when we were trying to find its Cup number are:
Reg; Y676 SBU
Therefore if your info was correct its Cup number must be either 6, 7, 8, 68 or 76 ?
Numbers 68 & 76 are listed on here & 8 has apparently been written off,so that would leave numbers 6, or 7 ?
According to Cup owners above the engine number bears no relation to their Cup's number.
Cup's chassis numbers aren't in order so why would the engine numbers?
Cup 33 ends.....7004484
Cup 34 ends.....7004262
Your old Cup ends:7004530
Perhaps your new Cup, number 112, is a fake!!!!!!?
