Not heard of anything similar. Are you in a particularly hot part of AUS? Stupid question - its all ****** hot compared with UK at the moment! I mean very hot. Might be worth looking around the vapour control system but I'm afraid it's one bit I've so far not taken the slightest notice of on my car. Are the fuel hoses perished? Hot climates affect rubber more quickly although your car isn't old. Might air drawn into the car via leaky windows or body seals have something to do with it?? AUS market cars might just be different in terms of vapour control from other markets too. Can you find a manual or copy of 'EPER' (latter available on here somewhere) to look at?
