swapping engine 2.0TS to 3lV6

I have only just got a mint 2.0TS 96 GTV. So I'm looking for spares when the opportunity arises... and a rolled 3.0 98 GTV is up for grabs.

How many difficulties would I have in scavenging from the 3l version... and is it practical to change the engines over (the parts one has on done 11k miles, so when mine fails this is a sure fire replacement): what is common what is not?

Brakes? Shocks? Panels? Radiators? etc etc

Re: swapping engine 2.0TS to 3lV6

brakes are different.
shocks are slightly different
panels are the same
wiring will be different
engine mounts will be different
radiator im not sure but there is an oil cooler on the V6
twin fan set up on the V6
different gearboxes

basically, you would have to completely strip the front end and then maybe set about modifying it some more. my advice, leave it as is. the V6 cars are pretty cheap these days anyway, even though i cant stand mine
