Help with GTA hole alloys on a GTV

Hello all

I recently bought some of these alloys and had them fitted to my GTV.

There's a bit of noise/scrapage coming from them when I turn on full lock. I don't have spacers on, can anybody help me, please?

If you have these alloys on and with spacers, can you tell me what size spacers I need to get and any suggestions where from please?

Many thanks for your help

Re: Help with GTA hole alloys on a GTV

The GTV 17"x7.5" are ET30 offset, the GTA 17"x7.5" are ET35 offset, so are 5mm further in than the GTV rims.
That is assuming the rims you have are genuine GTA rims and not copies, which are often different.

So 5mm spacers (and longer bolts) will bring them out to the same place as the GTV rims. You may even be able to go to 10mm, which would mean hubcentric.

This is all theory though as I've never had a GTV ( ).

I assume the tyre is rubbing on the inside arch liner when on full lock?

You should also check that the plastic liners are tightly fitted - the screws / fixings can come out and the plastic lifts out a little.

My tyres are rubbing inside on full lock turns, but it doesnt bother me and the tyres because you turn on full lock very slowly and a very very short time...
