Without going into some kind of technical epithany :
Really the filter at most will make 2-3bhp max (if it is a good one such as CDA), some may only see 1bhp.
Far more important is the induction tract design such as bore size, bends and smoothness of the inner wall. The filter plonked on the end is just a 'bonus' so to speak.
With a properly designed induction you should see arround 5-10bhp without any problems. It's a shame a company such as GSR do not produce one, although they do for the 147 GTA (which may fit).
Anyway to cut it there : A well positioned, nicely designed filter is just adding to the fundamental gains in the hosing/tract design.
