alfa spider!!!

Hi everyone, i bought a alfa spider 6 months ago and it drives like a dream but last month the airbag warning light came one, reading this forum I discovered that it was a commonish problem probably due to the fact that I moved the seat whilst car was moving, ANYWAYS.....brought it to my local mechanic/electrican to reset the thing and the bright spark that he is disconnected the friggin battery which set the car alarm off (meta alarm). I bought the car without any of the special keys etc and am now stuck because has No alarm (mechanic 'kindly' dismantled it so it would stop sounding).
Any suggestions to get around this problem or do I need to now fit a new alarm???
Thanks for yr help

Re: alfa spider!!!

Not sure mate.. There is a good company called data recall that can provide master keys though if you don't have any.

Re: alfa spider!!!

Would get it to an Alfa indy. They should sort this out in their sleep.
Had a similar prob with mine also without master key, fried alternator, battery, earthing probs follwed by more dashboard warning lights than our christmas tree. Left unlocked an un-alarmed on the drive all summer but Pete at Cloverleaf still mended it easy peasy.
Don't panic, do a search on here for independant specialists, there are loads about.
