Re: Pic's of My Baby!
Lovely car! I've been into Alfa's for a while - only just joined the forum though - I was at National Alfa Day the year that those were launched ('95?)! One of the dealers brought a couple along & I've loved them ever since!
I've also been preparing race cars with a mate for the last 10 years or so, 33's mostly but, we're building a 3L GTV for next year! Ours is all in black, one of my jobs (being the "arty" one) is to do the graphics on it, I'm trying to convince him to let me do them in chrome (which I think would look stunning!).
Personally, I have a 156 Sportswagon - petrol - lovely car but, I've been having some fuel management issues just recently. Personally I'd prefer some nice big carbs on it but.....
I also have an old (1972) Rover V8, this had a pair of 3/4" SU's but, I've just got hold of a Holley 390 & mainfold for it. (The Rover V8 engine came from Buick, hence the Holley carb is actually more "original" than the SU's!). By the way, the "390" refers to 390 cubic feet of fuel/air per minute through the carb, and that's the small Holley!
It is nearly running now but, life gets in the way, you know?
