Re: Gtv Rims Wheels

mine came with 17" tele's , its the only car i have owned that i have not felt the need change the wheels on. GTV is already individual enough not to need customising.

Re: Gtv Rims Wheels

perhaps, though adding real lightweight wheels will make the car noticably quicker, more fuel efficient and create less wear on the suspension

Thats what I thought when I first got my GTV a few months ago. Your right the wheels dont need changing because there already designed perfectly for the car by Pininfarina and why mess with the masters work. However the design as with the car is starting to age a little. Then you become addicted to everyone else on this site checking out different wheels on their car !!

I've only seen 1 or 2 wheels id ever "Think" about changing to like Superleggeras and BBS CH, but those cost a fortune so for now Im sticking to the original designs by Pininfarina. No need to mess with Perfection

Re: Gtv Rims Wheels

I'm now thinking about these (in 18") which weigh 7.3Kg as 17" - same as OZ Superleggeras

Available at a snip as they're last year's stock/range, just can't completely picture what they'd look like on the car.
Thoughts anyone?

the blood sweat and tears method! - basically making the area aroung the original wheel shot pure white (a lot looks like it is but isn't), then colouring in the inner areas black by zooming in, then copying and pasting onto the other pic with "draw opaque" image option switched off and then playing around with the stretch/skew until it fits right.
