The suspention have an esier task to hold the wheels in kontact white
the road, better grip, less understeer, less bountsing from wheel when
driving/braking on a not so good road, and some more feel in steeringwheel.

Yeah, i have the same though's as you, and i think if you paint the
sills you need to put autodelta or zender sills on to brake the line, or
the part after door looks to big/hevy, and i do like the OE sills so that
is not an option, i do have though's about painting front spoiler to maybee lower that line, balancing that part behind the door.

Re: Gtv Rims Wheels

I Sprayd my sill swith some Halfords Spray and then laquered it,3000miles on and its still looking like new. Colour match was exact and looks so much better.I think on a PHase 1 its only worth doing it if you have a light colour as the black sill smake it look pretty bad.The car looks alot lower with them painted. My GTV is on page 3 i think of this thread with 17inch tsw's

Re: Gtv Rims Wheels

My spider has the original 16" pepperpots. She's crying out for 17" Tele's. Give me a shout if you're selling - with our without tyres, don't care.

Wheels must be in great condition though.

Saw a brand new full set of 17" Tele's on Ebay a few months ago, went for 450, I was gutted, broadband went down 1/2 hour before auction finished.

Re: Gtv Rims Wheels

mine is still running the original 16'' pepper pots, they suit the car in my opinion.

The only other wheel i would go for would be the Teledial, if there is a set for sale with good tyres i would be interested

I'll buy the car and hide in the cellar like a spastic brother never to see the light of day again.

Somone please buy that car and put it out of its misery... A can or two of petrol should suffice!

I feel like digging my eyes out with a spoon.

Re: Gtv Rims Wheels

a massive amount of effort has gone into that yellow spider. Think theres a lot of custom made parts on it. Half recognise some bits.

unfortunetly its gone too far. So although the dude driving around in it with his dance music pumping out, may think he is the dogs proverbials... any onlookers will just think, what a lemon.....
