Of course I have!! You will have to forgive me but I always thought that stickers dont do any favour to a car's looking. Racing cars look fast, mythical and menacing, but not beautiful (there are many exceptions of course). For me the perfect look is a racing car before putting livery on. And like Toxymatt said, I prefer those rims in black. Talking about exceptions...

I don't mind the GTV on 16's but it needs to be lowered.

Thing is, I was scraping leaving my garage with standard height and cup kit - with lowering I'd lose the lot every time I left the house!

I have two sets of them, just in case anyone else comes to a sudden teardrop appreciation, lol.

I love GTVs with at least 17", and I envy that guy ni Swiss with their super-fine roads and 20", however I must stick to 19". I admit it's not very usable as a daily driver, but as a weekend car it's great.

20" is far too big!!!!!!!!!!

If you live in the UK (potholes galore) then 17's with 225/45 rubber is your only option if you want a half comfortable ride.

I would only upgrade to 18's if I had the money for a Bilstein B6/Eibach combo. Hopefully santa is reading this...

What's the tyre size you use? I ride on 19" and tyres 215/35 and got 2 of the rims a bit bended already. What's the offset on your rims?

Mochko1 - I have 225/35/19 and I ride on them for 4 years now, no problems so far even I hit a pothole a few times. I use spacers to set the wheels on stock GTV offset, it was the only way to avoid any rubbing.

ToxyMaTT - ahh, once I was a very active member of gtvv6.com, and then after the shut-down I just never settled on one web site. Now we have local 916 club in Croatia so I have more photos there. You should be able to check them here:

Wow! I had NO IDEA your car was a 97 model Davor. So clean I figured it had to be like an 03 model or something.

@BADfish10 - it was a custom job by one Croatian tuner (only two sets are made for GTV so far). 330 mm is quite a piece for rear brakes, so far they work great, tested on our Grobnik race-track.

They do look amazing, in fact the whole car does!

Have just had a second look at your pics and noticed you are running custom front and rear bell’s with what looks to be the standard brake calipers bracketed to fit?. I was looking to do the same a while back but in England “London at least” it is fairly hard to find a firm that would make a one off run/or that would not charge the earth to do so.
Do you know if your guys would be willing to make another set, or if they would distribute the .dwg for them?

Depending on price I think there would be a few on here that would be very interested.

Cheers J

Yes, the calipers are standard 4 piston model. I considered something bigger but on the end the originals performed better than expected and 6 piston monsters are quite heavy. The guys that have done work on this are no longer in business (crises is real bad here, no money for tuning cars). Maybe MovIt has something for GTV?
