I take it you're speaking with Doug @ DP ? I'm considering getting these wheels myself
- I bought a diff set of wheels from DP over a month ago but they said they were damaged on inspection, but to be honest I don't think they had any stock. He's offered a free upgrade to any wheel that will fit which is positive but he's bee really poor answering my emails and it's just annoying me now!

I thought I'd sent a reply but don't have it as I always have to delete the sent items to keep inbox space.

-But yes, the alloys are still for sale

ps. quality of the image isnt great just a phone pic. not had a chance to get some decent photos!
I think GTA alloys look great on the GTV. Considered them myself. Although "only" 17" they look bigger than the teledials but with no increase in weight.

Just checked my facts. As far as I know it's even better than that as GTAs are a little lighter than Teledials.

This is useful info for the obsessives like me and Phil.

16" Teardrops 10.5kg
17" Teledials 11.6kg
17" GTA 5 hole 11.4kg
17" Multispoke GTA 10.8kg
17" Selespeed 9.7kg (apparently, though I am suspicious this is incorrect)
18" Siennas 10.9kg

copying from Phil
Superturismo GT 18x8 = 11.4kg
BBS CH 18x8 = 10.9kg

from AMV
OZ ultraleggera 18" 8j 8kg

Re: Gtv Rims Wheels

What we think...

GTA wheels for 147/156/GT and GTV/Spider

or

8C style wheels for 147 156 GT GTV Spider

or Cup (which cost 1,200!!!!!) - start saving.

Thoughts please.

Cheers.

Rob
says they cost 440

I prefer the GTA ones, the think that makes the proper 8C ones soo good is the dish element of the design which isn't there on the 17s

The Audi wheels look ok, though very Audi. The ones on the right are horrible.
Can you do a quick mock up of Ultraleggeras in Black?

Re: Gtv Rims Wheels

Just shows I was right then (sic) - I don't like Audi wheels (or Audis).

Just been reading about OZ Alleggerita HLT wheels. They even do a 5x98 with 35 offset in 17x7.5 weighing in at 6.4kg. Sounds like the wheel for me, though I'd prefer the 18" which has 5x100 PCD, so would need wobbly bolts. I'm tempted. Titanium or Matt Black on my Grey GTV? But 1800+ with tyres.

Re: Gtv Rims Wheels

Fantom alfa, where did u find that info about Ultraleggera's HLT in 18" ? OZ page states only 19-20" and 17" dedicatet for BMW. Nothing about 18 .
If those can be found in 18" 5x100 and reasonable ET, means i may be found my wheels then

U find Black gtv with blach Ultraleggera's HLT -i done it while ago. This post page 7.

The info on Ultraleggeras (not HLT) is from your post on page 10.
The info on the Alleggerita HLTs 17" is from the OZ racing international website which gives the mass for the 17" wheels and the specification for the 18" but no mass.

Re: Gtv Rims Wheels

I've had a go at a Photoshop - don't laugh, it's my first ever attempt. Here is my Meteor Grey GTV with the Alleggerita HLTs. I don't think scale is accurate either.

Yes I've always thought the CK's looked very Alfa. I don't know about anyone else but I'd always use the Alfa centre caps... then I think you could mistake them for an option wheel.

A guy on ebay I emailed a while ago had the CK's in 19" and 5x98 I think.
