Re: weird smell from the rear window heater!
Just thought it worth mentioning that this is the first car I've had where the screen heater stays on until you turn it off. On all my other cars it's had a ten minute(ish) timer. I never leave mine on for longer than it takes to demist the window.
Yes, my TSpark 164 is like that too, but I think the Super has a timer...
As to the original post, yes, check/change that fuse quickly, before it melts not only the fuse, but the holder as well! If you get to that stage, the holder itself will be difficult to use.
I make it a point to periodically check and clean the blades of all fuses and relays not within the cabin as a matter of course. Those located in the boot are particularly prone to corroding, and then there is a greater current draw than normal, leading to the invariable blowing/melting. Particularly the rear window demister!!!!
Ps. @ amancalledrob .... like the sig!
If you can play a guitar and harmonica at the same time, like Bob Dylan or Neil Young, you're a genius. But make that extra bit of effort and strap some cymbals to your knees, suddenly people want to get the hell away from you.
