aligment adjustment on lowered car

I have now fitted my 40mm lowering springs onto my gtv to go with the 18" WHEELS (pics to come soon) and was wondering what kind of adjustment should i be doing to prevent uneven tyre wear. i have just been told by a nationwide operation that i will always have inner tyre wear.... 18" rubber is expensive. the tracking of the car seems fine pulling etc and i love the stiffness ...ok its a little bumpy in places but im not worried looks the dogs ****

Re: aligment adjustment on lowered car

Generally when lowering you do need to compensate a little for the toe settings. Probably an idea to get a 4wheel alignment check anyway but do make sure they check/adjust the rears - the rear toe is adjustable.

Sure to have more negative camber, which is not adjustable. Expect inner edges to wear.

Re: aligment adjustment on lowered car

Set the front tow to 0mm and the rear std.

Scrubbing the inner edges off has far more to do with toe than camber.

Re: aligment adjustment on lowered car

I had loads of inner edge wear before mine was lowered but none since as had it all aligned at the same time.

..the front camber on a V6 can be adjusted, not sure if the same can be done on the TS
