I'm not... you shouldn't admit liability at the scene of an accident even if you think it is your fault. That's what accident investigators are for. Insurance companies aren't too pleased if you admit liability on their behalf

See Who is Responsible for a Traffic Accident - Traffic Accident Advice (UK)

Good luck... also given that the damage appears to be to the body work and possible suspension rather than mechanical issues, I would probably consider a body shop/accident repair centre with a good rep. rather than a Alfa dealer or indy (unless they also specialise in accident repairs).

Don't know the year, but off the top of my head I'd guess your '99 was an early one in that colour; '99-'01 would be my guess for the years where Nuvola was being used.

Even without that colour your car will need a fair bit of work to fix. It's not nice to admit, but I think yours will be a write-off

However... Franky on this forum recently had a bash and managed to convince his insurers to repair his car when it looked like it would be written off, so keep your fingers crossed, it might work as you want!

Sad to see your GTV like that Pete, that colour is one of my favourites or a GTV, but it's ashame it costs so much to put right when it gets damaged

Re: I Want to Cry

Quick update:

Egineer came today to asses damage, Unfortunately it is a write off. Cost of parts alone came to £2800, and thats wthout checking if there is any steering/suspension damage.

The only good news is that it has not droped in value since I bought it in March and they have valued it at £4000, exactly what I paid.

Now to see if that Cup is still in Pistonheads at £5000......
