Something hanging from underneath!

Hi folks

I've just noticed something rather strange under the engine of the GTV - it was something hanging!

By the looks of it its a panel that overs the bottom of the engine bay which by the looks of it has become damaged (probably a speed bump!) and part of it is hanging down.

Couple of questions

1 - Can I take it off without damaging anything?
2 - Where can I get a replacement?
3 - Can I fit it myself?

Re: Something hanging from underneath!

I would just take it off. It is supposedly there to improve the aerodynamics of the car, to reduce noise and to prevent dirt inside the engine compartment. However many people run without them with no problems.

My last few Alfa's have been minus the undertray due to speed humps and things and I didn't have problems with dirt, noise etc..
