I have just been to view a very tidy and super sexy V plate Alfa GTV 3.0 V6 with 6 speed box, extremely good condition, FSH and in the right colour too- Alfa Red
Had a poke around, one small stone chip on the bonnet, no marks anywhere else, no dings, good tread on tyres, no kerbage, oil level spot on, engine clean, interior looks as good as new and leather in good shape.
Guy selling it was knocking off at 7 so i said i would wait til tomorrow for a drive, he very kindly offered to stay behind and take me out for a test. Very kind so i obliged muchly and said go on then.
Put the trade plates on, charged the battery, fired it up, (all good so far), bloody thing wont rev!
Sounds well on idle, press the throttle....................nothing.
Its going in the workshop tomorrow then hopefully i can get a drive after work and all being well, il have myself a nice 3.0 soon.
But seriously, how typical of an Alfa Romeo to do that to me?
