I like them Been looking at these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GENUINE-ALFA-R...d=p3286.c0.m14 Once fitted you could clear cote over them flat and polish and it would look as good as painted on Not so keen on the ones with Alfa Romeo or Alfa Corse written on the bottom though.
The ones on the 8C are painted on, not the sticky icky things!
Wow. Never new they was painted on.Could of saved myself a few quid and got my paint brush out! Though I will admit that I would of like them to be available in badges/sheilds. That would be a really nice touch
Sorry, what I ment was "LIKE" the quality of the scudaria badges (Enamel) The wing stickers that Alfa do a very cheaply made. I know Alfa do a emamel badge but its a 3rd of the size of what I have now and will look a bit lost on the car.
If I could ever design my own I would keep the shape of the scuderia badge, keeping the Italian top of the sheild and change the back ground white and stick a Clover Leaf in replacment of the horse. Then replace the S F with A R.
Now that would look the Mutts!
I'd be inclined to cut them out so that you don't have the big white triangle round the cloverleaf.
Burn the heretic!!
The triangle is a de-facto part of the cloverleaf-on-the-wings emblem. The cloverleaf has always been mounted on a white triangle, except in the very early days when it was on a white diamond (and was half the size of the car! )
Enamel ones would be nice if they were sunk into the bonnet, but would look too much if just stuck on. If my 2.0 were to be supercharged (hopefully one day) then i would deffo have them painted on the bonnet. It would be more exceptable then
