Spider Knocking?

Hey guys, I had this knocking noise coming from the wheels and vibrating up to the steering wheel.
I had it back from the excellent garage at Middle Barton, Oxon only a few weeks ago and thought, uh oh, CV joint or bearings or something.
Guess what???
Some complete gypsy b*stard had tried to nick my alloys and had left all the nuts loose!!!!
I am pretty bloody certain it wasn't the garage as they are true pros (race Fiats and Alfas) and I know them well.
So, watch out and always check your nuts!

Re: Spider Knocking?

You should always check the wheel nuts within a week of them being removed, no matter who did the job. Advice that any decent tyre/exhaust centre and/or mechanic will tell you.

And regarding "pros": I've had racing team mechanics work on previous cars of mine - they do make mistakes sometimes. They are, afterall, only human.
