Re: 2l GTV - front pipe replacement - difficult?
Non of it is too difficult but its flat on your back underneath time which is always a joy! On mine, the Lambda came out without any trouble but I had to take an angle grinder to one of the mounting bolts. Possibly only my car but I found a couple of the mounting nuts were odd sizes but an imperial socket did the trick. One of the most tedious aspects is removing the undertray, assuming you have one. They are made of cream cheese and held with a mixture of rusted bolts and rusted self tappers. Worth taking some extra time to repair and improve while you are down there. Often cable ties do the trick.
