Re: Axle Stand
I've put mine up on four axle stands several times since I bought it, and position the stands at the jacking points intended for the "emergency" jack. To accomplish this I've got five short bits (about 6") of Oak with a slot routered in which I made for a previous car, but I don't see why you couldn't just use plain wood blocks at the workshop jacking points. It seems to be very stable when supported thus, despite there being considerably more weight on the front stands, due mainly to the extra overhang. The only problem with this is that I have to drive on to two thickish planks to gain enough clearance at the front to get my little trolley jack under.
