Re: GTV V6 clutch on the way out?
I'm getting ready to do my own clutch. I've read carefully through the workshop manual and I'm fully prepared for it to be an absolute bi*ch of a job, but I've had quotes between £560 and £1000 at various specialists, so I'm just gonna deal with it...
In a nutshell, both wheels have to come off, then you drain the gearbox (so you'll need 2L of Selenia gearbox oil) the n/s driveshaft is removed, engine and gearbox are supported while the gearbox engine mount is undone and gearbox disconnected and slid out of the way. You need tools to lock the clutch in place and it's a good idea at this point to check the condition of the plate, bearing and cover rather than just change the plate.
Hope that's helpful - I'm not looking forward to doing mine!
There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those that can read binary, and those who can't.

Gone but sorely, sorely missed:
Meteor Grey Gtv Lusso | 17" Teledials | Bilstein rear shocks | Ragazzon straight thru s/s centre exhaust | Some crappy Halfords air filter. Perfect condition and still 220bhp after 95k
