Front bumper/bonnet shut line question

Is the top of the sides of the front bumper supposed to be a parallel line with the bottom of the wings of the bonnet?

I think my front bumper might be twisted down slightly ever since it dug into the ground on an un-kept road behind someones house in the dark .

I can't remember what it looked like before...

Re: Front bumper/bonnet shut line question

davylynne this has been the bain of my life getting the shut lines to how i want them - adjusting the bumper then the bonnet then the bumpstops. I have not seen a gtv which is completely perfect. At the front corner of the bonnet there is a wider gap and it is not uniform all the way round. Just compare the measurement on both sides and make sure they are the same and then look at it from the front and make sure that looks level.
