Spider window buffer

Has anybody had to repair/replace the foam buffer that separates the top of the electric windows from the hoods metal frame?

It seems that the black foam on my passenger side door is badly fitted (to long! ).

This means that taking the top down its followed by an annoying tap tap sound as the window clicks against metal when the hood is put back up.

I have super glued the foam back to the frame several times and it now looks a bit tatty and need replacing properly, any ideas where I can get hold of the foam or a garage that might be able to sort this little problem.

I am in Liverpool and the Alfa's a 2002 Red 3.0L V6.

Re: Spider window buffer

It could be that the window needs adjusting if its hitting the metal.
