Snap! Just like mine except that I have teardrop wheels, a different handbrake handle and I replaced the door speakers so my tweeters look different!
What did you pay for her and what parts do you need?
Paid £800 for her, with tax to end august and mot to september the 10th. 1/4 of a tank of fuel too
Needs a new variator, which means a new set of timing belts and associated paraphernalia. Best price I've got for this is £223.05+P&P (but inc VAT). Might as well do the water pump at the same time I guess.
Looking for a loan/rent of the locking tools etc to do it properly. I've started a thread in the 'parts wanted' section.
Aircon needs re-gassed (I'm assuming - it's not blowing cold). The door stay isn't broken after all - the bolts are just missing from it. The remote entry fob was temperamental, but just turned out to be a detached IR LED (now fixed).
The fuel injector light is on. The last-but-one owner got it checked out and was told it was because of using supermarket fuel. I'm hoping changing the variator might cure it, or if now a shot of injector cleaner and/or decent fuel.
That's about it really. There's virtually no rust - a couple of tiny
chips on the boot lid, and a little bit of discolouration around the inside bit of the rear wheel arches, but pretty much nothing for a 10+ year old car. Only 64K on the clock too!
