Re: GTV Workshop Repair Manual

We have now had around 60 + downloads on this. Not sure how many hits Uridium's rapidshare links got.

Have been considering a uploading a downloadable copy of EPER (the parts catalogue) Although its hardly up to date, it gives you an oportunity to get approx prices for new parts from Alfa.

Anyone fancy it?

Re: GTV Workshop Repair Manual

If anyone could find the camshafts in the eper catalogue for my turbo I'd be grateful! I tried main engine components which you'd have thought it was!

I've recently had a few requests of people asking for a copy of this. So I have decided to upload it for the communities pleasure. I was given this by a fellow alfa owner, so I thought I'd do my part for the community and give something back for all of the help I've received. Plus it saves people paying silly money on Ebay.

I'm not totally sure on the legalities of this being posted here, nor what the owners / mod's views is on these being posted. Please feel free to edit the links out if I am breaking a forum rule, or if you would prefer they were not publically accessable.

I've uploaded the files to a very new file hosting service. Time will tell as to how long the links stay up or what the speeds are like from the links.

The PDF's have been rar'ed up (compressed) and split into 70mb chunks. The total download size is about 300mb. Not 56k friendly.

You will need something like WinRAR to extract all of the PDF files. NOTE: you will need to download all of the files below for this to work!
As an extra special bonus, I've also included the META alarm manual for standard OEM cars (although its only a page and hardly an 'owners' manual)

Good luck - Final NOTE: Because this is a new file host, the links don't seem to work properly through any browser other than Internet explorer. For those of you using opera / firefox you will have to open them through IE.

Brillant, many thanks for posting this, helps a lot.

Only one question I could not download via your links, but used the ones Uridium posted. Only thing is that when decompressed the 2003 updates to the manual were not there. Were they there on the version you have posted.

Unfortunelty my spider is a 2003 model (phase 3) so the update part of the manual would be very helpful, but the rest of the manual is still useful.

Once again thanks to everyone, great community spirit in this forum.

Thanks for that, my Spider can now receive that huge amount of TLC that it sorely needs.

The manual was scanned in by what I can only assume was a Alfa staff member, by the dates on the files (2001) this was obviously a while ago. I'm sure someone has a copy of the newer service manuals, otherwise it will be off to ebay.

By the looks of it, my file host was pretty shifty and has now removed my links. The Rapidshare ones are however still up. Unless anyone has 300mb of storage spare and some decent bandwidth, we are going to have to make do with them.

If anyone has got the 2003 update and can let me have a copy I'm happy to upload these to Rapidshare.

As long as the Rapidshare files are downloaded once every 90 days the links will stay alive, however if they do get deleted i will re-up them.

The initial RAR'ing barely removed anything from the file sizes. I only split it in to parts, incase the downloaded corrupted on the links. Another host would be pretty good mind you.

Re: GTV Workshop Repair Manual

Anyone got a copy of the owners manual to add to this little jewel?

Also is it possible to get this thread stickied? The manual is invaluable for those with technical problems and need to find out more info to help them in diagnosis, even if they are not doing work themselves.

Try Uridium's links in post 18 http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/1751248-post18.html (GTV Workshop Repair Manual) . They still seem to work.
