I'm new to this forum, first post, so apologies if a dumb question:
Is the 2.0 v6 turbo based on the same block as the 3.0, and is it therefore as heavy/heavier (with turbo) as a power unit.
I am thinking of buying a GTV, and searching out a 2.0 turbo appeals, but I have heard that the handling of the 3.0 is not as good as the 2.0 Twin Spark because of the weight up front (on a FWD chassis too)
From what I have read elsewhere online it sounds like the 2.0 v6 turbo is same basic design just 'under' bored, but I guess that would make it heavier overall when you add the turbo to get similar power.
What would fuel consumption be like compared to the 3.0 when you are cruising on the Mway or in traffic for example?
I guess if you are caning it around the consumption would be pretty similar to the 3.0 as you are using the turbo to the max and thus getting similar bhp and therefore fuel burn, but when only on partial demand I guess the 2.0 is inherently less 'consumptive'
Cheers for any response
