I have an Acido green May 97 vintage - 117k on the clock - my daily driver.
It's the only car I've ever owned where people have just come up to me and said how much they love it. I'm sure there are those who think it looks like something the cat threw up - but they don't tell me.
Of course - it is currently in the garage having a service and some dodgy suspension components fixed that have croaked after just 21k miles.
If there were only 100 made - then a lot live near me!
It was hilarious - the other weekend we parked up near some friends and as I came back to the car park - it looked like someone had moved the car as there was another one. VERY occasionally I see one hairing about - one in Swindon and one at a nearby pub.
I would like to know how many actual ones they made - and why Alfa chose that colour (that indcidentally is currently the height of fashion) and also HOW TO STOP THE GREEN PAINT FADING - mine's going a bit silver on the bonnet and boot - probably as it had 6 owners before me and lives outside in all weathers.
I call it the 'Lime Candy' as with black and lime it looks like that choccie that used to live in the Weekend chocolate box. They don't make those anymore I don't think either.
Two of my female friends do really love the colour and several of my male friends think it sucks - so ?????? Colour is personal - but then - what isn't??
