Warning Airbag warining light question

Hello, I would like to know if anyone of you has ever taken your seats out. I removed my seats yesterday in order to shampoo the carpet, and disconnected the wiring harnesses under the seats (which I believe are for the airbags and seat belt sensors. After I was finished I reconnected the harnesses, and when I started the car the Airbag warning light came on. I wanted to know if by disconnecting the wires I now need to have the car hooked up to the computer and have the system reset. Sorry for the long post, and thanks for all of your help.

Re: Airbag warining light question

apparently its written somewhere within the manuals that the airbag system will still work its to indicate that a fault within the system has been detected, mines been on over a month now. it will be extinguished one day
