Just removed all the 4 relays on the bulkhead, cleaned the terminals on the relays, squirted WD40 in the blocks done the same with the fuses in the same area, still no joy.
I still think the CODE light has something to do with the Injection light. Switch on the ignition and the CODE is lit (although it did go out at one point
so i thought., im in here.
. but no! Iíve also had the injection light flickering (in the MAR) position and what seems to be a relay clicking too in the engine compartment (under the bonnet)..
So... with the ignition on i started to wiggle the relays again and the left hand one (as you look at the bank of relays) was clicking on the slightest touch.... So my question is...Is this the Fuel Relay?
I have just ordered a CD workshop manual, but in the meantime i thought i would ask here...
I have spent the last few hours reading ALL the posts on here on the ignition system etc, but not found any links about which relay is the fuel one.. Hmm.. i have also cheaked the fuses under the dash (drivers side) one thing i must now do it to remove the cowling around the ingition switch and 'tug' on the wires in the area (another idea many have found works) regarding the CODE light.
Can you tell im getting a little frustrated !! Worse thing is, is that im a time served mechanic
PS.. i intend to order a fuel relay tommorow.
