Calling all dads - Maxi Cosi baby seat!

Bit of a "special interest" thread this one but I'm at that stage in my life

Looks like the Maxi Cosi Priori XP is our choice for the bambino's travelling needs. Don't envisage any problems getting it in the V70 but he loves to be seen out in the GTV , want to buy it over the interweb and am hoping that someone can spare me and the GTV the pain of a trip to Mothercare - I'm not that reconstructed! - by confirming whether or not it will go in the backseat.

Re: Calling all dads - Maxi Cosi baby seat!

hiya, we're now 7 months into our people carriers (156 & GTV). We have used a Jane travel system, bought on Ebay as three seperate items. the 3 wheel pram just fits in the 156 boot or GTV back seat if the wheels are removed. the best fit for the boot is a Quinny Zap, but the pram is not for off road use. The Jane Rebel seat fits ok in GTV, however if rear facing it neeeds to go behind passenger seat if 2 adults in car, it just fits. We were told we would give in and get a Picasso or Zafira, but as the old saying goes "Ford and the world Fords with you, Rolls and you Rolls alone" (doesn't quite translate to Alfa, probably better in Italian).
