Empty Tappet on mt Twin Spark???
So, as what happens after you buy a car................. won't pull past 4200, so 1x MAF later car pulls really well, but seems to idle at 1500, but with a blip it falls to 850.
Changed the oil and the variator? chuffs at start then goes and finally.....
when I start the car facing up a slight incline I get what sounds like an empty tappet rattle (very light) for a few seconds. When I start facing downhill its fine. I take it the tappets are hydraulic with the drain at the back? hence the emptying, but why only one?
Engine is a 95k one, but apart from these little probs is as sweet as it gets. Any advise would be most welcome.
