How much?

I'm still on the lookout for a Spider to go with my GTV and struggling to find anything local. Ideally I want a 2001 Twinnie in silver with black leather. I've seen a 99 Twinnie in Proteo red with 103k on the clock. Recent belts/water pump/discs/pads/pipe but not much other history. How much does anyone think it is worth? Thanks in advance.

Cheers for all the advice. Going to have a look at it tomorrow.

Danny... does the manual hood only come on non-Lusso spec models so no leather interior (easy swap I know still costs) and no aircon?

Cheers, I'll see how I get on tomorrow and if I need to keep looking

Just got back from looking and it is a lovely car, looks great and drives well but just not for me. Having only driven my 2001 CF3 for the last 16 years I found the very subtle differences between the GTV and a '98 CF2 a bit weird and off putting so I've decided to hold out for a Spider the same age as my GTV so 2001-2002 but I did like the Proteo Red so my list of possible colours now includes silver, gunmetal grey, black and Proteo Red ideally with a black interior.

For anybody who is interested in this Spider... go and have a look. It is a very nice car and with a little TLC could be stunning. Andy, the seller is a top bloke and all round diamond geezer. He couldn't have been more helpful and has an impressive collection of 4 other Alfas including a V6 GTV.

Thanks for the little tip, I had to google what a Cf2 was and found out it's the engine type. To a novice like myself on the Gtv/916 you may not know the difference in the Ts engine as in photos they all look a like . I've now learnt the Cf3 has an electronic throttle body and 3 cats unlike the Cf that has a throttle cable and one cat. The electronic throttle body i assume would make the difference in feel when pressing the throttle peddle on ?
