Re: clutch pedal sticks down

Could be:

1. Knackered slave cylinder.

2. Carpet mat getting caught

3. Duff clutch spring

i'm thinkin that if it was the clutch spring it would happen at some point in low revs also?? but it neva has

slave cylinder i have no idea of so i'll look in to it,

Re: clutch pedal sticks down

Hi when I had my Twinny my master slave cylinder went and this caused the clutch to stay depressed so I would imagine that is the problem

Re: clutch pedal sticks down

Most common cause of this is the Slave Cylinder. Cost about £30.00 and about an hour to fit.

There are other quite recent Threads on here about this and will tell you what to look for.

Good Luck.

Hydraulics, slave first, then if sorted, sorted! If not, master cylinder.:

Re: clutch pedal sticks down

I had this problem. Im not technically minded so i can only go by what i was told but the Alfa specialist i went to greased the Rod thingy in the master cylinder and now it works fine. Sorry thats not too detailed.
