Air Conditioning Compressor Differences Need Help

Hi All need assistance with the air con compressor. I have noticed Alfa uses the SD7V16 on various models but the part number and model number varies. Physically they look the same from what i can see.
I need to replace mine but the part number on mine is as follows.
B722 SD7V16 Partnumber 60653653 and modelno. 1158.

I have found Part number 60653652 model no. 1157F as a replacement.

As mentioned previously they look physically the same. There are lots on ebay but i cant find the same as mine. Can anyone see any issues by fitting the one i have found 1157F. Does anyone know the differences?

Will be fitted into my 1999 Spider..

Regards

Check the number of ribs on the pulley. Early cars have 7 ribs, later cars have 6.

60653653 is 7 rib and ...652 is 6 rib I believe.

It is possible to swap the pulleys over, but budget on a new bearing at the same time. A pulley puller can be made fairly easily*. There is a full service manual available for download off the Sanden site. Link - http://www.sanden.com/servicemanual.html

EDIT : Just looked at the service guide, and the easily made puller only lifts the armature. A much more complicated tool is needed to remove the pulley but I found it came off fairly easily by gently levering around the periphery against the bolt heads holding the main body together. I think I used two levers opposite each other and then moved them 90 and levered a tiny bit more and so on.

* From memory though, the 3 pulling bolts are 1/4" UNC. Not very easy to find in the UK anymore and probably the same in Oz.
