Halfords do do them but maybe not using the nomenclature that you do. I have bought from there before. They are HB3 / 9005 bulbs for headlights and full beam.

yes, they can be a pain to get hold of, try a good car accessory shop, that's where i got mine from, they are around 9 each.

don't know how true it is but i was told that renault use that bulb in many of their cars.

Re: GTV 2.0L TS Lights

Hi, There is confusion but I got mine from an auto electrician using his parts list and they are fine, cost about £11 each. They are Lucas LLB9005, 12v, 60w, HB3, P20D, ' E '
Am thinking that next time I may go for the new improved Xenon bulbs, if you believe the Hype they are much better and not much more expensive. Anyone any thoughts ?

Re: GTV 2.0L TS Lights

I have had no probs obtained bulbs but there is also an HB2 which fitted my "R" reg'd the HB3 fits my "Y" reg'd, both 2.0 TS Lusso. However they both suffer from dismal if not dangerously poor dipped beam. The blue bulbs are even worse I think. HID Xenon is not an option withing the law. The GTV doesn't have self adjusting lights or H/L washers. Anyone got any suggestions? Main beam is quite reasonable and correctly adjusted. Even additional help from fog lights doesn't give enough reach for good visibility.
