fixed sort of, but bad idle
After filling my air intake and intake manifold with lots of lovelly flood water,
now dry, clean and running, sort of?
The car now idles at 1500 rpm, i have carried out a search on here and seen that gtv actually have a problem with this although i think mines due to being very wet inside.
The usual culprits i see regarding fast idle are MAF, Idle control motor, Lambdaadadadaddad sensor or whatever its called.
To avoid running out and spending loads of money on the wrong things, can someone advise and send me in the right direction. Someone mentioned turning the car ignition on for 90 secs, off for 90 secs and then running the engine for 5 - 10 mins and apparently this resets the system, anybody have any experience of this, or is it better to look at replacing parts.
