Re: Petrol Flap Problems
Unfortunately I also have most of your problems. You can take out the trim surrounding the button and undo the button. The switch is broken and you do not have the right contact, I took it out and use superglue to glue back the legs of the switch and put it back. Remember you have to wait till the glue is dry and the legs are strong enough to use the button again, I waited a day.
There could be two different issue; 1. cannot open the flap with the switch, the switch is broken ( the switch stays in). 2. the flap stays out and cannot be put back, the black tap stuck in which can be freed using scillian spray.
I glued mine in because I knew that the part is very very expensive.
