Passengers' side windows lift system is the same in all versions.

The auto-drop ones are different from non-autodrop in drivers' side.

The drivers' side lift-system we see in the thread, is non - autodrop (1st gen)

The springs are from a V6. I'm not sure if these would be suitable for a twinnie or not.

As Desame says the regulators are non auto drop. An auto drop car will have auto drop regulators on both sides of the car.

If you are after a regulator to replace an auto drop one on you car then it should be possible to make one of these work if you are prepared to swap one of the arms over (super easy) and drill the rivets from the switch bracket on the original auto drop regulator and attach it to this one. Check out PKR's guide if you want more details. It will be a bit of faff, but a cheaper than buying an auto drop regulator.

Hope that makes sense!

I could be wrong but as far as I know the springs will physically fit a V6 or a Twinnie however the springs are different as the V6 is heavier etc so you need springs for a Twinnie. Some web sites say you can use the same Eibachs on either model. I think the confusion comes from the 2.0 V6 turbo which has 3.0 suspension. I ended up phoning Eibach to get the gen off them. Part no 1024-140 for the Twinnie and 1014-140 for the V6. I'm after a set of new springs for my Twinnie... Plenty of V6 ones about but none for mine.

Nellytheroc: That sounds about right. I know the front dampers are different between a V6 and a Twinnie due to the drop links.
