Programing Injection ECM - Key Code Removal

Hi gents,

My 1998 GTV 3.0 V6 has the key code light ON and the Injector Light OFF in the dashboard.
None of my keys can get the engine running. The "security" starts (pushing on the gas pedal with the code on the card) does not work as there is no injection light on the dashboard.

Alfa dealer is frightened that the injection ECM is dead and that it has to be replaced !
They suggest the ECM could eventually be reprogrammed to get rid of the key code feature, but he was not able to find someone able to do that. Me neither.

Would any of you guys have a contact able of reprogramming these ECM's ?

Thanks in advance for your support !

B

Has anyone checked the connection between the antenna around the ignition switch and the yellow code/immobiliser box under the dash. Sometimes just plugging it in and out can solve this problem.

Not yet, it's part of next troubleshooting steps before to turn fear in reality.
Thanks for answering !
