ABS Light On
I'm trying to get to the bottom of the ABS light thats on. I noticed that the drivers side sensor had the wire cut. It also had the bolt snapped in the hub. Someone has tried to remove it before. I got it out and swapped it for a new sensor.
I'm a bit gutted to find out that the light stays on still. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be? Because the bolt had snapped, I couldn't bolt it down, it's in rock solid, had to tap it in with a rubber mallet. Does the bolt act as an earth or anything?
Also, in the past, on other cars, when i've had abs sensor issues, the light comes on when you start the car, then will go off after a few seconds, it will come back on once you start driving and you exceed 5mph. Is this how the Alfa systems work?
