GTV exhaust

Looking to replace my unsightly rounded exhaust which looks something like this:

http://teamv6ver2.pagesperso-orange....NCES/91602.JPG

Back to the original which is the rectangular one which looks similar to the attached photo.

Any ideas which part I should be looking for on ebay ?

Is this for a TS or a V6? They take different exhausts.

It's a V6 if you click on the link, you'll see a very nice looking vela blu V6.
Not sure about part number, but mine has that shape. The round one doesn't look right.

Garage
As far as I know, It's part of the last silencer section, not sold separately by Alfa

I'm going to cut off my old one and increase the bore to replace the rusty non-oem exhaust tail pipe currently on one of my cars, if I ever get around to it!

Maybe you can get a used tail pipe?

Hi yes, it is a V6. Just looking at ebay.

Any ideas if this will fit it:

No, that won't fit & V6s had a round tail pipe, & 'some?' TSs had oval.

I think mine came with the rectangular pipes originally. The rear bumper seem to have a small area that conforms to the shape of the pipe.

This is what mine looked like:

That's one of my cars which I've fitted an aftermarket sports exhaust to, see pic of original exhaust.

All of the bumpers have the same shape cut out, probably for the early TSs, no matter what shape the tail pipe.

You can buy the oval tail pipe section, my V6 has one on it, I'm sure you could get one of ebay or an SS exhaust custom supplier. When I had a powerflow system fitted to my TS thay gave me an option of about 6 different styles, the chrome tail pipe just fits over the pipe with a clamp. Just measure the pipe, buy one that fits, cut the pipe, fit the tail pipe and you will have the style you want.

This could be a possibility

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/381660740116

Alternatively I have a braker who only lists a fraction of what he has, can pm you his number.

The same manufacturer also does one for the 2.0 V6 Turbo with only one silencer(see pic), gives a slightly deeper tone, direct fit: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Imasaf-Aus...item5d5a822595

They'd probably sell just the rear exhaust section seperately if you ask nicely?

I bought one seperately years ago on Ebay from Holland...I think, I fitted it to a V6 GTV. Also I had a Cup with one fitted(see pic).

There was a trhread re this make: http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alfa-...tried-one.html (IMASAF Backbox - Anyone tried one?)

Here's a rear section with oval tail pipe from a UK seller, says JTS but will fit any 916:
